  • It’s Not About You (or your Maytag)

    renegadefattyFor those of you who have been under a Twitter rock and have not heard, @ThatKevinSmith the director of many films, was recently booted off a Southwest Airlines flight for being too fat for flight.  I’m not usually into all the Entertainment Tonight bullshit but I have to say this story pissed me off.  First of all I’m into Kevin.  I think he’s a fucking hoot and quite frankly I’m into fat guys.  I have  a thing for “fat boys” as my mom would say.  In junior high I was madly in love with Ice Cube ~ fat-assed Jheri curled Ice Cube ~ not the new workout and kinda buff Ice Cube.  In fact ReneDad looks quite a bit like Ice Cube (minus the curl) and that works for me. I like my men with a pot belly and love handles bigger than mine.  The main reason I love them is I don’t ever want the guy I roll around in the sack with to wear smaller jeans than I do.  Superficial? Yes.  Sexy as hell? Fuck ya!!  I want to cuddle and be kept warm at night.  I can do without the snoring…but thats another story for another day.  Therefore, when I heard about Kevin’s situation I was pissed and I kinda want to go kick Southwest Airlines ass.  In fact had I been on that plane the flight attendant and I would have come to blows.  Fucking bitch.

    Speaking of fucking bitches…. just because I was already irritated by this whole Southwest-Are-Fucking-Morons thing I then had to see this lame shit from the almighty Dooce:

    Really Dooce? Please tell me that you are not seriously comparing your Maytag debacle to the humiliation and bullshit Kevin Smith just endured are you? Please tell me that you are really not THAT narcissistic.  It was then followed up by this tweet:

    A woman speaks out when she is wronged = bully. A man speaks out when he is wronged = standing up for the voiceless.

    Oh wait. You are THAT big of a narcissist. Duh. 

    Three minutes later, after other twats pointed out her obvious stupidity she attempts to do some damage control with this:

    My washing machine was not nearly as big an issue as what @ThatKevinSmith is dealing with, but it’s the basic principle I am speaking to.

    Oh jeeze Dooce.  How stupid do you think WE are? Oh wait you were talking to your fans not those of us with some sense. Well let me break it all down for you since you clearly can’t see past your own Maytag.

    First of all you are a bully.  Not because of your Maytag Twitter Tourette’s episode  but because you are in fact a bully. Remember your whole publishing of people’s private information on your MTH site because they….gasp!…didn’t like your blog?  Oh and then there was the whole thing you did where you tweeted that poor woman’s personal Flickr account and had all your little sheep leave horrible nasty comments on her pictures calling her ugly and all kinds of sweetness.  If my memory serves me right,  I think it was because she too, dared to criticize you (and what she said wasn’t even that bad). Let’s not even delve into you and that douchebag husband of yours bullying your own child.  That is WHY people call you a bully.  

    Second, you were not “wronged”.  Your fucking washing machine broke.  Big god damn deal.  I know, I know… you had just bought it.  See this is the thing Heather, your washing machine clearly had NO IDEA who it was dealing with when it dared to break under warranty now did it?  I know it’s hard to grasp but you had something happen to you that happens to normal people.  Washing machines break.  Companies don’t always jump right over and fix it.  It’s called “real life” and you should try experiencing  it someday.  All that being said, you were never “wronged” by anyone.  Kevin Smith certainly was. No comparison. There is not even any remote comparison to the “basic principle” of which you claim to defend.  You had a broken washing machine and people think your a bitch.  Kevin  was publicly humiliated and people really like him, oh yeah and he is talented.  No comparison at all. Sorry.

    renegadeairlinesI know it’s really hard for you to share your Twitter attention.  It must be awful to have to share the Twitter spotlight for even a day. I know it sucks that he has more followers than you do…and he doesn’t even pay to be in the Twitter auto follow like you do. Amazing huh? All the people that follow him ACTUALLY really like him and followed him on purpose.  Get over yourself Heather.  This time on Twitter it’s about Kevin Smith.  Right now he has the spotlight and rightfully so. Unlike you he had a REAL gripe about a corporation and he was ACTUALLY wronged.  His Maytag didn’t break and Southwest really did fuck up. He also handled it better than you did. He never threatened to sick his ONE MILLION plus followers on Southwest if he didn’t get his way. He just Tweeted something that happened to him that was lame.  He handled the situation with class.  

    At the end of the day when all is said and done, Kevin Smith is one sexy fat guy and you Dooce are still a self centered bitch.  Hey Kevin, you can fly Renegade Airways anytime… coffee, tea or me? xox
