Zildjian, take me away!

Okay, what the hell? How am I supposed to make money and fuck off at the same time? Shit. I’m the worst Renegade Mom, but I’ve become an ass-kicking working mom! I confess, I’ve been neglectful of this site and our awesome new friends. I’m sorry, I really am. But now I spend my days doing REAL work and my nights doing a bunch of shit I don’t have time to do because I’m working all day. I’m not complaining about work but seriously, something needs to change.

I was once strictly a working mom. The Daddy-O was the stay-at-home parent and we called him The Wife. He did the laundry and shopping and cooking and this weird thing called “cleaning.” I worked and paid the bills, he basically did the rest. And I liked it! Then we switched places. He got a cool job just when I was starting to go postal at mine, and the trade and change of pace was kind of nice for both of us. Two years later we ran out of the equity money my house had earned (that I somehow tricked a bank into giving me so I could quit my job) and it became obvious that I needed to start contributing to the family income pool again. So what did I do? I started my own business with RM1 and now I’m working MY ASS OFF!!! Every day, seven days a week. I love it! But you know what? I’m still doing laundry, shopping, cooking, taking care of kids and this disgusting thing called “cleaning.” And now I don’t have any time for my special place, Renegade Moms. That’s the worst part. And I haven’t been to band practice in a month!! Fuck. I could really use some good hard drum playing right now.

Obviously some things are going to change around here, especially since I think our little business is about to be slammed with tons of new work. Believe me, I’m happy about that. I’m just worried that I’m already stressing out and over-worked.

How many of you moms not only make sure your family has clean clothes and somewhat decent food, try like a bitch to keep the house clean, manage everyone’s time and money for them, take a shower, brush your teeth, play with your kids, escape to the bar with other Renegades, sleep, help with homework, take time for yourself, talk on the phone, bitch on the internet, AND WORK??? How do you do it??

I rely heavily on Jesse to do everything. And surprisingly he does a lot. I honestly do not like working my 30 hour a week job. They cut hours, so I’m down to 20 and I’m actually happy about that. I really shouldn’t be commenting on this post because I only have one kid and well he’s pretty easy.
So uhm are you going to spill what this business is?? I’m interested, I’m an inquiring mind! I want to start a business with my best friend but she lives in another state. And neither of us can move at the moment. I’m jealous.

What the fuck are clean clothes? Are they those things people in my house keep asking for? If I could get my computer to wash clothes than maybe people around here would have some. Shit today I resorted to spending money on disposable diapers because I just couldn’t deal.

I miss Renegades too. We will find a way to balance it all I know it. I know everyone will hang in there with us while we do this. In the meantime at lease we are getting some great vagina stories! Some Really GREAT vagina stories. Keep them coming peeps because they are the bright shining moments in our days.

It’s easy …all it takes is a heavy dose of insomnia, a few dashes of fucking crazy and alot of cuss words…

When I was working 60 hours a week as a single mom, I didn’t get all those things done. It’s humanly not possible. I have two teenagers and they had to step up to the plate, like it or not! They whine and moan and don’t do things the way I would, but it has to do sometimes. There must ALWAYS be time left to go to the bar and decompress. It’s a medical necessity.

My life is totally pissing me off lately. I have working, I hate that my house is always dirty and some days I want to run away.
