  Meet my lovely family.

   

  Hello, how are you? I’d like to introduce myself but I’m not going to tell you my real name. From now on I will be known as Renegade Mom 3. I’m pleased to meet you. 

  I’ve just recently downgraded due the recession and moved to a new neighborhood where I met the Renegades, who live next door. Honestly, I’m not sure how I feel about these lunatics. Their children are nice, but they obviously can’t afford a gardener because their front yards leave much to be desired. I certainly hope they plan to do some pruning soon, or at least some raking. I’m wondering if the furniture in the driveway is out for repair or donation, although I don’t know who would want it. I was disappointed to see it still sitting there after garbage day. 

  I’m proud to be the mother of two very bright children and a less-than-bright dentist husband that I “adore.”  I’ve recently joined the PTA, or PTO as they call it here, and I’m looking forward to chairing the Halloween carnival committee and the upcoming fundraising events. My family will be visiting a new church this Sunday, so keep us in your prayers that it’s not one of those new fangled, California lesbian churches; you never can tell from the outside since they all seem to have those lovely rainbow colored flags flying. Although I haven’t read it yet, writing for this Renegade blog should be a fun, new adventure for me. I’m new to this blog business and I can’t wait to get started. I hope we all become good friends. 

  Well, I must run along now. Labor Day approaches and I’ve yet to box up my white shoes and pants. I might keep out my favorite white handbag, if you promise not to tell.
